Terms of Service
Last updated: May 20, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TenLens website, waitlist, on-premise application, documentation, and related materials (collectively, the “Services”) provided by TenLens LLC (“TenLens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. These Terms are provided for general informational purposes and are not a substitute for professional legal advice.
The Services
TenLens is an on-premise desktop console that helps IT teams manage hybrid Microsoft identity environments, including on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. You install and run TenLens within your own infrastructure. Features may include reporting, automation, lifecycle workflows, license management, audit logging, and related tooling. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
On-premise operation and data
TenLens is designed to run entirely within your environment. We do not host your TenLens installation and we do not receive, store, or retain your application data, directory information, user records, audit logs, or configuration on TenLens servers. All such data remains on systems under your control.
You are responsible for provisioning, securing, maintaining, and backing up the servers and infrastructure where TenLens is installed, including network access, updates, and compliance with your internal policies and applicable law.
Eligibility
You must be authorized to act on behalf of your organization to download, install, or use TenLens in a business context. You are responsible for controlling access to your on-premise installation and for all activity performed through it.
Waitlist and early access
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to TenLens. We may invite users in waves and may decline or revoke access at our discretion. By submitting your email to the waitlist, you agree that we may contact you about product availability, onboarding, and related updates. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information collected through our website and waitlist.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, tenants, or data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Use the Services to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with TenLens or Microsoft.
Customer data and ownership
You retain full ownership of all data processed, stored, or generated within your on-premise TenLens installation, including directory and tenant information, reports, logs, and configuration. TenLens does not claim ownership of that data and does not hold copies on our systems.
You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to connect TenLens to your environments and for ensuring your use complies with your organization's policies and any agreements with Microsoft or other third parties.
Third-party services
TenLens integrates with third-party platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory within your environment. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. TenLens is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation.
Intellectual property
TenLens and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the software, branding, documentation, and website content we provide. Except for the limited right to install and use the on-premise application as permitted here, no rights are granted to you.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPERATION AND SECURITY OF YOUR ON-PREMISE INSTALLATION.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TENLENS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to downloads, updates, or website services if you violate these Terms or if continued provision poses a security, legal, or operational risk. Because TenLens runs on your infrastructure, termination of our relationship does not remove software already installed in your environment, subject to your license terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
