Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TenLens LLC (“TenLens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with our website, waitlist, and the TenLens on-premise application (collectively, the “Services”).

This policy is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal advice. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

On-premise deployment

TenLens is installed and operated entirely within your organization's infrastructure. We do not host, store, or retain your directory data, tenant information, user records, audit logs, configuration, or any other application data on TenLens servers. All data processed by the TenLens application remains on systems you control, typically your own servers or private cloud environment.

The TenLens application does not transmit customer application data to TenLens by default. Your organization is responsible for securing, backing up, and governing data within your on-premise installation.

Information we collect

Because TenLens runs on your infrastructure, we do not collect or hold application data from your installation. The limited information we may collect relates only to our public website, waitlist, and direct communications with TenLens:

  • Contact information, such as your work email address when you join the waitlist or contact support.
  • Website usage data, such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address when you browse tenlens.com.
  • Communications, such as messages you send to us and records of support interactions.

Information we do not collect

Through the on-premise TenLens application itself, we do not collect, receive, or store:

  • Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID objects, attributes, or credentials.
  • Tenant configuration, sync state, or connection details from your environment.
  • Reports, audit logs, automation runbooks, or other outputs generated in the application.
  • Usage telemetry, crash dumps, or performance data from your installation unless you explicitly choose to share them with us for support purposes.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above only to:

  • Operate and improve our public website.
  • Manage waitlist sign-ups and communicate about early access, product updates, and onboarding.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and send administrative notices.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share website and waitlist information with service providers who help us operate our site and communications (for example, email delivery and basic analytics), subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We do not share customer application data with third parties because we do not receive or hold that data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of TenLens and our users.

Microsoft and directory data

TenLens connects to Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory within your environment. That data is read and processed locally as part of your on-premise installation and is not sent to TenLens. Your organization retains full control and ownership. TenLens is not affiliated with Microsoft Corporation. Your use of Microsoft services is also subject to Microsoft's terms and privacy policies.

Data retention

We retain website and waitlist information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Application data within your TenLens installation is retained according to your organization's own policies and infrastructure, not on TenLens systems.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information related to our website or waitlist, or to object to certain processing. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in our messages or by contacting us.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve the site experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled. The on-premise TenLens application does not use TenLens-operated cookies.

Security

We implement measures designed to protect website and waitlist information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Security of your on-premise TenLens installation, including network access, credentials, backups, and hardening, is your organization's responsibility.

International transfers

Information collected through our website or waitlist may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. Application data in your on-premise installation is not transferred to TenLens.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
